I was going to load each post with a Stardate in TNG continuity. I should admit that I'm just not as big a Star Trek fan as you are. After all, two posts in and I realize the combo was broken from the start. The gag also may have gotten old during the Second Draft Counts.
As usual, all word counts so far belong to OpenOffice. I would put it at 12K, then, conservative estimate. Progressive Conservative estimate, if you prefer.
Five chapters so far. The next two or three ought to sustain a similar focus.
Today's progress was actually hampered by the need to do my job. It was a 55% speed kind of file, the type that make me want to flail about wildly. The sad thing is, the next one is from a client whose work is usually the same, but at least his is less than half the size and contains "long pauses". On the other hand, I won't even make a full billing hour of work for it, then.
Two days into Movember and my moustachio is pitiful, not much like what you would expect from a paisano. I did start the month clean-shaven.
The weekend is full of NaNo brunches and possibly also a Subway Meetup, where we occupy a car of a subway train for a couple of hours or so. Nothing late. That's probably good.
I am plotting out the MRI visit, too, since other people need to drive me there. I have a ride lined up, no worries. My knee acted up today, too.
