Identifying common caterpillars

I'm back home for a day of "respite". A three hour file smiled demonically at me the moment I unpacked my bags. I'm enjoying time I've forced myself to take off for the purpose of watching a baseball game, snacking and drinking one single bottle of beer, but otherwise I have approximately four more hours of work ahead of me. I did type for an hour just to get started.

Well, I can use the money so I won't complain too loud about it.

While away, I managed to sight what I think was this thing. In fact, if you ever want to identify any garden-variety caterpillar, this might help.
