I had an extra day today when I learned that no painting would occur until tomorrow. I used it to push the book, not to the very end, but past the point where the original manuscript has anything to offer. It still requires one chapter for the erstwhile-end and an epilogue to settle something.
I am on until CyberNations rollover despite an earlier wakeup time because war started. It looks like Ragnarok and possibly a couple of others are fighting New Sith Order, with The Phoenix Federation looking to jump in on behalf of NSO. If that happens, a few defensive pacts are triggered and some of the biggest alliances in the game will go at it (New Pacific Order for one).
My cozy group's pacts put us on the Ragnarok side, but we have no word yet. Just uneasy peace and board-watching. Otherwise, I would be at DefCon 1 and already starting the first half of a staggered quad attack or something.
There will be no counters tonight; too little time between this message and rollover for anybody to post an official war declaration and start a "quad attack". Quadding gets is name because you can attack people twice per turn, so if you catch someone unawares, you can attack them twice before rollover and immediately twice after rollover before they manage to respond. Devastating.
Sanding, priming, painting. This is going to be my Tuesday.
