Spectators
Apr. 17th, 2014 01:52 amI spent a lot of the sick week and much time recently watching different variations of TMNT. Clearly inspired by people in rubber suits/muppets, then by green animations, I use electrical muscle stimulation machines on my biceps, triceps and abs while sitting in awe of turtle power. One highlight, aside from the two live-action movies (and not "TMNT 3", and not Michael Bay's, which remains unseen), is "Turtles Forever", a 2009 special/compilation where the goofy pudgy-looking turtles from the TV series of my childhood find themselves in the late-2000s new TV series dimension, which is far less whimsical; at some point all 8 turtles of this super-team get their butts kicked by monochromatic turtles from the Laird-Eastman comic.
The chinchillas stare at me. “What exactly is it that he’s doing?” They say.
They’ll get to make different guesses when I start doing squats. Maybe they think I'm trying to be the next Ultimate Warrior. They probably don't care, as long as I keep giving them treats.
