West of Central Park

Getting settled in the Upper West Side; had a subway adventure. Basically the NYC subway is not navigable by somnambulists like the Toronto variant is, but for the general reason that it's as big as it should be and must therefore be more complex to serve people properly. As a result, I managed to board a train that suddenly became express and overshot my stop by two or three "locals"... fortunately, the ticket is time based and I just went on a train in the other direction that was assuredly "local", not "express".
