Bellatrix mask, Benadryl and other things
May. 4th, 2012 07:42 pmEarly plug. Friend of mine is trying to gain votes in a Harry Potter related costume contest. If you open the poll site and look at contestant "Alyssa T." in the competition as "Death-Eater" (even though that must be a Bellatrix mask, making her the second Bellatrix on the list) you can click on her name and see a nice photo from Mount Pleasant Cemetery. I would appreciate it if you sent her a vote to help win this contest. She's recently become the owner of a nice Melanie Davis hand-made notebook, too.

I'm using Benadryl to stay functional enough to work, but I can pass out in my chair for hours at a time. Always by choice, but probably not the best sleeping posture for my back. The fact that the Benadryl doesn't completely stop the symptoms could mean I just have a cold. I would actually like a cold instead of reacting to the dog with which I must live for the next few years. It's also possible that seasonal allergies are taking over, because my roommates don't have any pet allergies yet sound/look a lot like me. One guy also said he has allergic type reactions every time he moves until he acclimatizes; I might wonder if I'm like that.
Saturday is quite busy, but at least it's organized. It'll be nice to hug Liam again, and place him in a nice room. I should probably keep the door open a crack once he arrives, though, because there's a radiator shared between my room and the other guy's (nice radiator-sized hole in the wall, through which I can see light and hear a dog) and my room is always warmer than the rest of the apartment. I should hope that they can turn those radiators off when it's summer, or else I may want to move Liam into the living room. The chihuahua seems to spend most of his time either being walked outside or staying in the guy's room, so the living room might be okay. He also stopped yapping at me, which is nice; I am officially of The Pack.
