The double life of being Mr. Caterpillar
Oct. 30th, 2010 12:48 amNobody is giving me "silent treatment", I just don't say a terrible lot worthy of intellectual response at times. I've generated needless blog drama, and the best part is, it's so insignificant to anybody else that I'm the only one in the world who cares about this flavour of fail. Since nobody else cares and nobody at all should, this weird topic won't recur.
Saturday is brunch pancakes and a visit from Cuddlyniece and then more photos.
I hope Samhain is everything everybody hoped it would be. I see the ToNaNo crowd also has me surrounded with Pagans, and this feels pretty good. Well, not the entire membership, but a goodly chunk of the people I have encountered for three years straight. They're so non-boring; non-proselytizing. These are qualities typical of anybody I can stand, and actually makes me more interested in your beliefs than if you tried to make me adopt them.
Oh, the double life of being Mr. Caterpillar... it's more familiar to some people than my given name. Thoreau did say that nicknames are the only real names, which is troubling to some extent; his intention was probably that you can't have a meaningful name that you didn't earn by doing something interesting.
