Today I learned a client's perspective of H.264. Basically he thought it was Google, Apple and Microsoft engaging in a jagged alliance to kill off Firefox, by generating and implementing a video encoder that won't be given to Firefox but will end up in IE, Safari and Chrome. I'm not sure what to think about that.
