Plan going forward
I will make at least one post summarizing each of the days I experienced in Montreal. The first of these posts will also cover some time of the day before the train trip, because the hotel in Toronto is worth mentioning as a warning to others. I'll delay the full explanation until the proper post, though; just don't jump at the sight of the $60/night hotel, because believe me, the $10 more per night you would pay for the Grange nets a huge return in value.
Each post will have photographic accompaniment. I worked with more continuous-shot technique, and I have become comfortable with protecting good photos for easy mass deletion of the unprotected multitudes/outtakes. It's tedious to go through the photos one at a time, deleting outtakes individually, but that's what I had been doing for years before figuring this out.
I'm currently sitting in the station in Montreal. Time to go stand in line.
